Rules of Play
Match Format
- Best of 12 games
- 3 point deuce (sudden death on 2nd deuce).
- Duration is one hour, including warm up.

If you are unable to complete all 12 games, the result will be the best of the nearest even number of games completed.
Example, if you complete 9 games, you enter the number of games won after 8 completed games.
Organising the Match
- Players agree on the time to play and one player nominates to book the court
- The court fees are split evenly between players. The booker must be repaid before the match commences.
- Each player/team brings a minimum of 4 tennis balls.
- Players select which balls to play with after warm-up.
Warm Up
- Warm up duration is at the players' discretion, but no longer than 10 mins
- recommended warm up is:
- half-court
- baseline
- serves
Start of Play
- Players agree on the balls to be used for the match
- Server is decided by toss of coin/racquet
- Loser of the toss decides which end of court to receive in the first game
Gameplay
- Change ends after every odd numbered game
- Receiver of the ball ajudicates ball in/out. You can not dispute an opponent's call
- Server calls out the score after each point
- Server calls out the game score at the beginning of their service game
Doubles
- When receiving, each player must pick a side, deuce or ad side, and play that side for the whole match
- Tram lines are included in-play
- If a player calls a ball out their teammate can not dispute it, and same goes for the opponents
- First serving team is decided by the toss of coin or racquet. Each team can decide which teammate serves first.
- The order of servers does not change except in the case of a sudden death tie-breaker
